🔍 Phase 1 — Problem Framing

We start with a co-definition workshop bringing together researchers, business owners, and domain experts.
The goal:
• Identify the right AI problem to solve
• Align technical feasibility with business value
• Define measurable KPIs and ethical safeguards

🧩 Phase 2 — Data Access & Safeguards

Data readiness is the foundation of each studio:
• Secure access and governance controls
• Reproducible experiment setup (versioning, documentation)
• GDPR and confidentiality compliance by design

Inspired by best practices from CEA-List and NavER Labs Europe, we embed industrial-grade reliability and documentation from day one.

🧠 Phase 3 — Demonstrator & Evaluation

Teams deliver a functional demonstrator, supported by:
• Evaluation metrics and performance notes
• Governance documentation (datasets, model cards, decision logs)
• Mid-cycle and end-cycle steering reviews

Our approach mirrors Kyutai’s open-science philosophy and TII-NVIDIA’s applied robotics lab structure — blending transparency with operational focus.

🏁 Phase 4 — Publication Decision Gate

At the end of each studio:
• Steering Committee decides open-science vs proprietary path
• Governance notes archived for traceability
• Roadmap toward industrialization or spin-off initiated
